History

The Colorado Lutheran High School Association fulfilled dreams and plans for a Lutheran high school in the southeast metro area in the fall of 2001 when Lutheran High School of the Rockies opened in a strip mall on Parker Road under the leadership of Tim Hippenbecker, founding principal.

Since that beginning, the school has grown and developed from a strip mall to a new 64,000 square foot state of the art facility, from 24 to 200 students, from a staff of five to a staff of twenty one, from a basic curriculum to a wide variety of curricular and extra-curricular offerings, and from Lutheran High School of the Rockies to Lutheran High School – Parker.

Throughout, the sharing of God’s love and daily care of each of our students has been the most important responsibility of our ministry.
