History The Colorado Lutheran High School Association fulfilled dreams and plans for a Lutheran high school in the southeast metro area in the fall of 2001 when Lutheran High School of the Rockies opened in a strip mall on Parker Road under the leadership of Tim Hippenbecker, founding principal. Since that beginning, the school has grown and developed from a strip mall to a new 64,000 square foot state of the art facility, from 24 to 200 students, from a staff of five to a staff of twenty one, from a basic curriculum to a wide variety of curricular and extra-curricular offerings, and from Lutheran High School of the Rockies to Lutheran High School – Parker. In 2011-2012, the Colorado Lutheran High School Association consolidated its two schools (Denver Lutheran High School and Lutheran High School Parker) to one school in Parker which us now called "Lutheran High School." Throughout, the sharing of God’s love and daily care of each of our students has been the most important responsibility of our ministry. A more thorough history of both Denver Lutheran and Lutheran Parker is coming to this page soon!
