1. Set up your visit in advance with a college admissions rep; do not just appear on the day of the visitation and expect a warm reception. 

2. See Miss Noffze for a college visit sheet and be ready to ask some of those questions.  Maybe take it with you and fill in the answers as you tour campus, or immediately after your tour so you can remember all that is important to you. 

2010-2011 Preview Visitation Dates

Campus Preview Visitation Days often include:  campus tours, sitting in on one or two classes, lunch in the cafeteria, talk to instructors in specified field of interest, student panel Q&A, financial aid info for parents, visit to the college bookstore, small gift from the college, etc.

All universities/colleges below offer private tours as well; call to set up an appointment and tour.  Any colleges not listed below offer tours by arrangement only; please contact the admissions department to arrange a date and time.
