First of all, it would appear that as a parent you are seeking to find the best high school option for your child. I applaud you for taking the time to do that.

If you are looking for a high school where Jesus Christ is the reason for the school, then Lutheran High School – Parker is a good fit. We strive to keep Christ at the center of all we do here. A sign on the bulletin board as you enter our school says it well, “Be it known to all who enter here that Jesus Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever-present teacher in our classes, the model for our faculty and the inspiration for our students.”

Is it important that your child not get lost in the shuffle? Our staff cares about each individual student as a unique child of God and we strive to help each grow to their full potential by giving them the individual attention they need. We work with each student and his or her parents to try to provide the best high school experience possible that will prepare that student for their next step in life.

Our caring environment is also essential in the nurturing of academic excellence in our students. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for the college experience and over 90% of our graduates go on to college. Our students have been accepted at all of the Colorado colleges and universities and well as colleges and universities across the nation. Our ACT scores have averaged 22.5 for the last five years compared to the Colorado state average of 20.3. Our academic excellence can be directly traced to outstanding, certified teachers, rigorous expectations and our caring environment.

Extra-curricular activities are an important part of any student’s high school experience. We have excellent programs in athletics, drama and music and we are constantly seeking to improve those programs. Our coaches and sponsors have passion for their activities and not only strive for performance excellence but also teaching life lessons in a Christ-centered environment.

Our campus is a new state of the art campus that features a 63,000 square foot building housing technology focused classrooms, well equipped science labs, computer lab, media center and art room. The school hosts an artificial turf athletic field, all-weather eight lane track and a 950 seat gymnasium.
