Campus Ministries - opportunities for you to connect | Email from Sept 11, 2026
Thriving Parents is a ministry for LuHi parents to meet together, talk about relevant issues confronting students, pray together, and encourage each other. Meetings include round table discussions. One purpose of the discussions is to help parents see they're not alone in the issues they face with their students.
New this year is our Thriving Parents guide, Dr. Dave Rueter. Dr. Rueter teaches junior and senior theology here at Lutheran. Before that, he served as a DCE in congregations, walking with parents in guiding their teens toward maturity in Christ and in life. He is a husband and father of two teenage sons, a former college professor, and an author on a variety of ministry and parent-related topics. Thriving Parents will take place on the first Monday of the month from 7:00-8:00 pm in room 032. (Oct. 5, Nov. 2, Dec. 7, Feb. 1, Mar. 1, Apr. 5, & May 3)
