Cards for Grandparents | Email from Jan 13, 2026

Gratitude for Grandparents - As God has blessed us with an abundance of amazing grandparents, plans are in place for students to write cards to grandparents (or other seasoned citizen mentors) on Wednesday, February 4, during our regular chapel time. LuHi stationery and stamps will be provided. Appropriate Scripture will be available as well to add to student notes.

Families are asked to please provide addresses so that teachers will have them available for students to handwrite during the chapel provided for card writing. Students are also welcome to print out and bring their addresses on February 4 if that is more convenient. Below is a link to a Google Form from Mrs. Ullyatt for providing addresses to the office (and for teachers during our chapel time). Again, addresses for grandparents or other older mentors in their lives are appropriate! We understand the number of cards will vary for students (and some may not participate). Thanks in advance for your submissions! We kindly ask that addresses be submitted by Monday, February 2.

2026 Grandparent Addresses Form

We’ll certainly have a template available, but any at-home reminders for how to address an envelope (where the sending and return addresses go) would be appreciated. There’s something special about a handwritten card and envelope and we have the opportunity to model what it should look like!
