Come Visit CCU with LuHi - April 22 | Email from April 7, 2026
Do you have any interest in going to Colorado Christian University for college? On Wednesday April 22, we will be taking a group of students to visit CCU. This visit will include meeting with the admissions team, a campus tour, and a free lunch in CCU's dining commons. If you have any interest in attending CCU, this is a great opportunity to observe campus life and connect with your admissions counselor! As an alumni of CCU, I love getting to experience the campus with LuHi students!
Attached to this email is the permission slip. The permission slip needs to be signed by your parent and returned to Mrs. Barton in the Guidance Center by Monday April 20. You can also pick up a copy in the Guidance Center. This trip will be first come first serve. There are 20 spots available. This trip is only for students who are considering CCU for college attendance.
Here is the schedule for the day:
- 8:25 AM – Leave LHS campus
- 9:15 AM – Arrive and check in at CCU
- 9:30 AM – CCU Campus Tour
- 10:30 AM – Admissions Presentation
- 11:30 AM – Lunch in CCU Dining Hall
- 12:30 PM – Leave CCU
- 1:15 PM – Arrive back at LHS
We will arrive back in time for the talent show. Please sign and return the attached permission slip to Mrs. Barton in the Guidance Center. Please note that attendance will be reviewed, and if Administration determines you/your student has excessive absences, you/your student may not be able to attend this visit.
