Courses Selection for Junior Year 2026-2027 | Email from Jan 20, 2026

Dear LuHi Sophomores and Parents, 

It is time to start planning for your Junior Year of high school! I work with the Juniors here at LuHi so I will be speaking to all Sophomore Theology classes today (Shull), Wednesday (Stelling) and Friday (Fischer) about the Course Selection Process. 

I will walk students through a presentation that helps them choose the appropriate classes for next year. Each student will fill out a 2026-2027 course selection sheet during our time together. Once the presentation is complete, all students will send their parent(s) a picture of their completed course selection sheet. 

Parents, this is where your role begins! 

  • Please open "Course Selection Instructions" for details on how to begin the course selection process in FACTS. You will use the picture of your student’s 2026-2027 course selection sheet to select the course requests for next year. 

  • Please look at each section on the course selection sheet so you have all the details you need for making the selections. 

  • I will meet with every Sophomore, one on one, between January 30th and March 13th, to confirm that course selections are correct and that your student is on track to graduate.  

Parents, the time to input these course selections into FACTS ends Monday, January 26th at 11:59 pm. You will need to complete your online course selection through FACTS by this date to secure your students classes for the 2026-2027 school year. If you have never opened FACTS or have forgotten your password, please use the “Forgot Password” link to set a new password for yourself. Only parents have a FACTS account. If, for some reason, you miss the deadline to select your student’s classes, I will do it with them when I meet with them to review their course selections and graduation requirements before the end of March.
