Dear Rising Seniors (and their families);
Are you ready to think about college? Are you nervous about the application process? Are you worried about that college application essay you know you are going to have to write? Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered.
LuHi is excited to announce a College Essay Writing Workshop and Tutoring Program happening later this month. This program will provide rising seniors with structured support in drafting and revising college entrance and scholarship essays through interactive workshops, personalized coaching, and access to high-quality writing resources. The program aims to help students feel more prepared, confident, and hopeful as they begin their journey after high school. Serving as an added benefit to LuHi families, all costs are covered by LuHi. Yes, this program is being offered to you free of charge.
With the advent of inflated grades, optional standardized testing, and AI use, the personal statement is becoming increasingly important in the college application and financial award process. Helping you with an orientation to the college application essay, writing tutoring, and essay editing will help you achieve your goal of gaining acceptance to your college of choice. Last year, LuHi’s Writing Lab helped students gain admission to their preferred college and secured over $80,000 in scholarship funds through well-crafted essays. We hope you will find this service valuable as well.
