For Seniors: Transcripts, Requests & Naviance | Email from July 22, 2025

Hello Class of 2026!

I hope you are having an amazing summer! As the start of a new school year is fast approaching and you all are starting to work on college apps for next year I wanted to get some info and reminders in front of you. I know thinking about colleges and completing applications can be overwhelming but try not to stress. Just take it one step at a time, follow the guidelines and timelines your counselors are giving you and you will do great!

  • Your transcript - You all received an unofficial copy of your transcript back on June 19th via school email. I have just sent you another unofficial copy of your transcript to your school email account. The link in the email is only good for two weeks so you must save a copy of your transcript. If you don't see the email please check spam. You can use this copy of your transcript for any initial applications, scholarships, college coaches, etc.
  • Naviance & transcript requests - Many of you have already started making transcript requests in Naviance. Awesome, you are ahead of the game! Reminder, you MUST note in Naviance once you have submitted your application to each college. Transcripts can be sent to your colleges after we know your application has been submitted so please do this very important step. Thanks!
  • Common App Info - Be aware there is additional backend digital paperwork that needs to be completed from the school counselors before transcripts can be sent to Common App Schools. The system physically will not allow transcripts to be sent without this additional paperwork attached. You will need to notify your counselor if you need Common App paperwork completed. Thank you for doing that well in advance of the deadline.
  • Naviance will be partially down for it's annual roll over and maintenance July 25-31 - Here is what this means:
    • During this time eDocs will be completely offline and unavailable:
    • Meaning transcripts cannot be sent to colleges during this time
    • However, students can complete the following despite eDocs being unavailable:
      • Add colleges to their Colleges I'm Applying To list
      • Request letters of recommendation (in Naviance, NEVER in Common App)
    • Students will be:
      • Unmatched from Common App (if you already created and matched your account to Naviance), and unable to re-match their accounts for the 2025-2026 school year until after the roll over is complete
      • On August 1st you will be able to re-match your Common App account for the 2025-2026 school year and link it to your Naviance account. You MUST also sign the FERPA waiver.
This is just some very basic info you need to know as you are working through the college application process. Please keep an eye out for the more in-depth college prep emails in the coming weeks (and really all school year long) from the counseling office. They will contain a wealth of information you will need to know to navigate the entire college process (including athletics, scholarships, military, workforce, etc).
If you have any specific questions about the college process or applications please reach out to the counseling office directly, they are here to help.

Have a wonderful rest of your summer! See you soon!
