When: Male Students = Thursday, August 20th, Female Students = Friday, August 21st
Where: Camp Timberline in Estes Park, CO
Cost: No cost to families!
What to Bring-What to Wear: I have more information attached to this email! It will be a pretty active day, so please wear tennis shoes or sneakers. A t-shirt and shorts are acceptable for the retreat. You are allowed to wear a hat. Do not wear tank tops or crop tops. Please avoid inappropriate messaging. Bring a water bottle as well. And, please remember to bring a Bible and a writing utensil!
Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Please drop off students at EchoPark Stadium (11901 Newlin Gulch Blvd, Parker, CO 80134) anytime between 5:45-6:00am. Students will be welcomed by their senior leader as they arrive. For pick-up, your student will be in contact with you, and we will also send something out, but plan for pick-up to be between 8:30-9:00pm at Lutheran High School.
Meals: Lunch and dinner will be provided by Camp Timberline for all students! Camp Timberline does not have food accommodations for gluten-free, lactose-free, etc. If your student has a food allergy and cannot eat at camp, please bring your own meal supplements. We will have coolers available to store meals, and Camp Timberline will have a way to heat up food. Attendance: We are hoping the entire class can participate in this one-day retreat event but understand if your student will not be able to attend. Please email me if your student will not be attending the retreat [elizabeth.hoffman@lhsparker.org]. On a quick side note, girls will attend classes as usual on the 20th, and boys will attend classes on the 21st. Lastly, if you are a male student who does not attend the retreat, do not come to school on the 20th. If you are a female student who does not attend the retreat, do not come to school on the 21st. Please communicate with me about any questions you have or if your student will not be in attendance. If your student unexpectedly becomes ill or injured and will not be meeting at the bus pick-up in the morning, please contact the front office. Thanks!
