Important changes in re-enrollment procedures for 2026-2027 | Email from Feb 4, 2026
Dear Lutheran High School families -
I want to make sure that you view the updated re-enrollment page which has information for returning students for next year: https://www.lhsparker.org/re-enrollment
A fairly significant change for next year is that you don’t have to do anything to re-enroll your current student(s) for next school year if they desire to return to Lutheran High School in 2026-2027. In an attempt to make your lives easier, your student is considered to be enrolled for next year unless you choose to withdraw him/her.
If you are considering not returning to LuHi in 2026-2027, you have until May 4, 2026 to decide. That is the final day to withdraw for 26-27 and stop the re-enrollment fee from being withdrawn from your account on May 8, 2026. The instructions for withdrawing your student are on the web page linked above. If you withdraw, your spot for 26-27 will go to another student.
The deadline to file with FACTS for tuition assistance has been moved up by a couple of weeks as well. Please make note of the new deadline on the web page linked above.
LuHi’s annual tuition is increasing by 3.6% (going up $50 a month). Compared to other private and private Christian schools nationwide, I think that increase is reasonable. I have increased the re-enrollment and materials fees on the front end, so a slightly bigger financial commitment exists up front than in previous years. That makes sense in light of the current demand for spots at Lutheran High School. With all of that being said, I’m sensitive to the notion that any increase is a potential burden, so we remain committed to doing a thorough job with our tuition assistance awards.
Thanks for reading and checking out the webpage! Have a great rest of the week,
Dan Gehrke
