Important Information for Seniors and Families | Email from April 18, 2026
Dear Parents/Guardians of Seniors and Members of the Class of 2026,
The time is quickly drawing near to celebrate your student’s graduation from Lutheran High School! For parents, I’m sure it has felt like the years have flown by!
Text Messages – As we move through April and May, I’ll begin sending text message reminders for senior activities. If a parent/guardian or student does not receive the message, please contact Ms. Lietzau at jillian.lietzau@lhsparker.org and make sure everything is accurately listed in FACTS. If you have received school “Parent Alert” text notifications this year, you should be set.
Pranks & Boondocks Senior Activity - For over a decade, when we get to this time of year, we’ve asked our seniors to join us in a fun activity planned by the school. Historically, this came with the expectation that there would not be pranks on campus or in the building (students are not allowed in the building or on campus without permission). In recent years, we have placed the emphasis on not having pranks as a basic expectation of respect and ending the year well. Our seniors have been amazing and we so appreciate them honoring this request.
We would like to celebrate our seniors and offer up a fun activity (and a day off from school). On Monday, May 4, seniors are invited, free of charge, to Boondocks in Parker, from Noon - 3:00 PM. Please arrive at Noon to check-in with LuHi chaperones. Lunch will not be provided. Thanks for eating before going.
Students participating do not have to go to school before or after (they will still be eligible for practice after school because this is a school activity). Students are expected to participate at Boondocks or attend school. Attendance will be taken. Hopefully, Boondocks serves as the perfect senior outing and a way to have some fun with our senior class! Students not participating and not in school should be excused by their parents by emailing attendance@lhsparker.org before 7:00 AM to avoid an unexcused absence (they would not be eligible for practice after school).
Caps & Gowns - Graduation caps and gowns will be distributed to students during lunches on Thursday, April 30.
Baccalaureate/Graduation Rehearsal - Mandatory Baccalaureate/Graduation practice will be at Southeast Christian Church (9650 Jordan Road, Parker, CO 80134) on Tuesday, May 19. All students are required to be at practice beginning promptly at 11:00 AM (until noon). Regular attire is fine. Please be on time. Thank you!
Senior Blessings - This special event is held on Tuesday, May 19 at 6:00 PM at Lutheran High School. Seniors will be recognized, awards will be given, and a video presentation will be shown. Immediate family members are encouraged to attend. Students should arrive no later than 5:45 PM.
Baccalaureate/Graduation at Southeast Christian Church - Graduation begins at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, at Southeast Christian Church, 9650 Jordan Road, Parker, CO 80134. Doors open at 5:00 PM, please plan to be seated by 5:45 PM.
