Lutheran High School is partnering with Magoosh, a premier online test prep platform, to provide effective, accessible, and individualized services to help prepare for the ACT or SAT tests at no cost to you.
Dear Lutheran High School Junior Students and Parents,
We are so excited to share a wonderful opportunity for our Junior students again this school year!
Lutheran High School is partnering with Magoosh, a premier online test prep platform, to provide effective, accessible, and individualized services to help prepare for the ACT or SAT tests at no cost to you.
To get started, students need to fill out this form to opt-in to either ACT, SAT, or both services. Mrs. Fair will check the registrations weekly (Monday mornings) and students will receive an emailed invitation from Magoosh to set up an account. Please access this video for detailed steps in setting up your account and getting started. Students will have a full 12-month subscription upon signing up to continue to practice and improve throughout their junior year and into the summer months.
As an extra incentive, students who set-up an account and complete a minimum of 2 hours and 25 practice questions on the Magoosh platform by 8 am on October 23rd (All-School Testing) will get a large Crumble Cookie on that day!
All-School Testing day, October 23rd, will present an opportunity to participate in the National Merit Scholarship Program which awards 8,500 scholarships to High School Juniors across the nation ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. Additionally, small improvements in a student's test scores can result in significant scholarship money.
