Lutheran Parents Association Welcome | Summer Emails
We wanted to introduce ourselves and share a little about the Lutheran Parents Association (LPA).
The LPA is a parent-led care ministry dedicated to encouraging and supporting our amazing teachers, staff, and the entire Lutheran community throughout the school year. We partner with the school to host events like Veterans Day, Grandparents Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, monthly staff lunches, and many other opportunities that bless those who pour into our children every day.
Our mission is simple:
We care. We serve. We build community.
The LPA matters because when parents get involved, teachers feel encouraged, our school grows stronger, and our students benefit. Whether you have a few hours to volunteer, a special talent to share, or simply a heart to serve, your time and support truly make a difference.
A Little About Us
We are Katie Hill and Michele Wilson, your new LPA Co-Chairs, and we are excited to serve this year.
Katie is the mom of three girls, including a current LuHi sophomore. Michele is the mom of three as well—two boys and one girl. Her oldest recently graduated from Lutheran, and her middle son is a sophomore this year.
Outside of school, we both love spending time with our families, cheering on our kids at sporting events, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, and sharing a great cup of coffee. Most importantly, we have a passion for serving others and giving back to a school that has poured so much into our own families.
Lutheran is such a special place where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally—to become exactly who Jesus created them to be. We believe so much of that is because of the incredible teachers and staff who faithfully invest in our children every day. Our hope is to love and support them in the same way they love and support our children.
We'd Love to Meet You!
Please join us for Coffee & Connect on Friday, August 28, at 8:00 a.m. at Black Rock Coffee Bar (16898 E. Auburn Hills Dr, Parker 80134).
Come enjoy a cup of coffee, meet other LuHi parents, learn more about the LPA, and discover ways you can get involved. Whether you can volunteer often or just a little throughout the year, there is a place for you.
We truly can't do this without you, and we can't wait to meet you!
Go Lions!
