Senior Finals Schedule and Information | Email from April 30, 2026

Seniors and Senior Parents,

The end is near and that means congratulations, celebrations, and finals are right around the corner!  Senior finals will take place on May 14th and 15th in the Gym of LHS.  Below is the schedule along with some notes related to details for the two days.  Thank you for reading them carefully and please send any concerns or questions to Mr. Thomack at  tim.thomack@lhsparker.org.

May 14th (Thursday)

7:30 - 9:00    Period 1

9:00 - 9:10    Break    

9:10 - 10:40    Period 2    

10:40 - 10:50    Break

10:50 - 12:20    Period 3

12:20 - 12:30    Break

12:30 - 2:00    Period 4

 

May 15th (Friday)

7:30 - 9:00    Period 5 and 6 (seniors with finals 5th and 6th period, please make arrangements to take one of your finals during 7th period)

9:10 - 9:35    Chapel

9:45 - 11:15    Period 7

11:15 - 11:25    Break

11:25 - 12:55    Period 8 and 9 (seniors with finals 8th and 9th period, please make arrangements to take one of your finals during a prior open period in your schedule)

 

  • Finals for lunch periods 5 and 6 will occur simultaneously as the first finals on Friday.

  • Finals for periods 8 and 9 will occur simultaneously as the last finals on Friday.

  • Final testing for seniors is at the High School in the Gym.

  • Normal dress code for seniors during finals.

  • Seniors should park in the lower parking lots near the sports fields (as available) and enter through the downstairs entrance near the gym. 

  • Seniors waiting for their next final to start will gather in classroom Forge 032

  • Students may not take finals earlier than May 14 without approval from Mr. Thomack.

  • Students may not move finals on 5/14 and 5/15 unless prior approval from Mr. Thomack.  (Students with accommodation plans will be accommodated according to a plan created with the support and guidance of their Access teacher)

  • Seniors should bring something to work on if they finish an exam early as they are required to stay for the 90-minute period.

  • Headphones may not be used during exams, but will be allowed after a test is submitted.

  • Student-athletes participating in postseason athletics (i.e. State Track, playoff games) who are able to test on either Thursday or Friday are allowed to fill their day with testing. They must take tests at required times, but may also fill-in openings with tests from the day they will not be present. They must be present for the full 90 minutes.  

  • Student-athletes participating in athletics with conflicts on Thursday and/or Friday (along with other seniors who have made a request) will take any remaining finals the following week in available classrooms.

  • All seniors will need to be done with finals by 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 19th
