Student Council Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 School Year!

LuHi Student Council is a select group of students (approximately 4% of the student body) who seek to represent LuHi through specific contributions to student life and culture. Commitment to this group is not taken lightly, and acceptance into Student Council comes with the dedication and commitment to ACTIVE participation in meetings, events, and cultivating a positive school culture.

 

StuCo Members must set aside Thursday mornings for Student Council. We only meet Thursday mornings and it is important that, if selected, you make StuCo a priority.

 

TIME COMMITMENT:

In addition to weekly meetings (mentioned above), StuCo members are expected to fully and actively participate (plan, lead, set up, clean up, and attend) the following student events:

* New Student Orientation- August 12th

* Homecoming Week (Hall Decorating, Pep Rallies/Class Competitions, Blacklight Dodgeball, Dance)- 

* Christmas Spirit Week (Best Dressed Nominating/voting)

* Sadies Week (Pep Rallies/Competitions, Activity/Dance)

* Prom Spirit Week 

* Talent Show 

* Yearbook Signing Event

 

The following positions are open:

*Class Representatives (6-8 per grade)

*Executive Board (open to returning LuHi students only!)

* President (1) 

* Vice President (1) 

* Treasurer (1)

* Secretary (1)

* Spiritual Life (1)

* Social Media Coordinator (1)
