LuHi Student Council is excited to announce our 10th annual Boys vs. Girls Week at LuHi (Versus Week)! The week is full of dress up days, fun competitions, and Coin Wars. We will end the week with the dance on Saturday night.
Versus Week 2026: East Coast vs. West Coast Edition
Dress up days:
For dress up days, you can choose either option to get points for your team!
Monday (16th)- No School
Wake up with the East Coast or with the West Coast. No school today!
Tuesday (17th)- Old Country vs. New Country
Old: Founding fathers, US history, red, white and blue
New: Cowboys, boots, jeans, hats
Wednesday (18th)- Sleepless in Seattle vs. Miami Vice
Seattle: Coffee shop, bookworm, cozy clothes, rainy day wear
Miami: Neon colors, energy drinks, sunny day attire
Thursday (19th) Jersey vs. Jersey Shore
Jersey: Sports Jerseys, athletic wear
Jersey Shore: animal prints, sequins, flip flops, big sunglasses, graphic tees
Friday (20th) City Boys vs. Valley Girls
*Friday is gender specific*
Girls wear pink
Boys wear blue
*NO Casual for a Cause- either dress in the theme or regular dress code.
Please note: If students are not participating in dress up days, they need to be in dress code.
Earn Points for your Team:
Earn points by doing the following: Dress up in the day’s theme (and check in at the front by the end of 2nd period!), win the Girls vs. Boys competitions, and win Coin Wars. The winning gender will get a free dress day (date TBD).
Be a participant in the week’s competitions (Games, Basketball, Family Feud):

Coin Wars
Throughout the week we will be doing Coin Wars (girls vs. boys). We will weigh the coins at the end of the week and the team with the most weight wins Coin Wars! For each dollar donated, an ounce will be subtracted from the weight of the coins. Bring coins to put in your own gender’s jar and bring bills to put in the opposite gender’s jar. All money goes directly to LuHi Missions.
Versus Dance- A Day in LA vs. A Night in NYC
The Dance is Saturday, February 21st at LuHi, 7-10 PM. Tickets are available through Hometown ticketing OR you can pay cash or check at lunch beginning February 9th. We will have the In N Out truck on campus making 300 burgers from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. The first 300 people to arrive at the dance will receive a voucher for a burger. This is included in the ticket prices.
LuHi Student tickets:
* $20 now- Thursday, Feb 12th
* $25 Friday, February 13th -Thursday, February 19th
* $30 Friday, February 20th through the dance
Guest Tickets:
* $25 now through Thursday, February 19th
* No guests tickets will be sold after Thursday night, Feb. 19th.
* You must have a guest code in order to purchase a guest ticket.
Please note:
* This dance is for current LuHi students and their date. LuHi students do not have to have a date in order to attend.
* Only one guest of the opposite sex per person is allowed and a guest registration form must be filled out by Thursday (19th) at the end of 7th period. Guest registration forms can be found here.
* Dress code: You can choose either more casual for A Day in LA or more semi-formal for A Night in NYC
