Martin VanDerSchouw stepped into the head cross country coaching role with a lot of passion and experience. He started running cross country his senior year of high school and hasn’t looked back since. With only one season under his belt, he was offered full rides at both the University of Utah and the University of Kansas to run. As a self described basketball junkie, his choice was easy.
LuHi is excited to welcome Patrick Stiles as the newest member of the LuHi coaching family. Patrick will be starting up the LuHi Wrestling program as it’s head coach.

Our Top Track Program
Lutheran High School’s track program has a history of success. Student athletes are breaking records and turning out champion performances every year. The track and field team is led by Coach Darwin Horan, who brings a passion for sportsmanlike competition to the training, along with a real desire to help high school athletes become the best versions of themselves.
Our fall sports have come to an end. Each and every one of our teams, players, and coaches had an incredible season! We are so proud of all our fall sports programs!

In this letter I have put the most important things I believe parents should know about our athletic training program at Lutheran High School.
We are excited to welcome Tabitha to our LuHi family of coaches as she steps in to fill the role of Spirit Coach. She comes to us with over 16 years of dance, cheer, and coaching experience. She shares that she is passionate about her sport, "because of the interaction with teams, crowds, and students. Helping people get pumped for games is a skill not everyone loves to do, so cheerleaders should feel proud that they are the ones leading the crowd."
