A shadow day is the best way for your student to know if LuHi is a good fit for them while getting a real "day-in-the-life" experience.
Schedule a Shadow Day
During a shadow day, prospective students spend the day paired with a LuHi Student Ambassador to get a feel for our culture, classes, and core values. It's a great way for students to see if we are the right high school for them by experiencing a day in the life. Eighth-grade students or transfer students are welcome to request a shadow with our Admissions Office by filling out the form below.
Eighth-grade students or transfer students are welcome to shadow on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Transfer students must apply before they can shadow. We limit 10 shadows per day, so please note that it is first-come, first-served. If you do not get your first choice of date, we will work with you to find another day that works.
Students will receive lunch during their shadow day. Monday's lunch option is Panda Express, Wednesday's lunch option is Chick-fil-a, and Friday's lunch option is Noodles & Co.
First Shadow Day: September 11, 2026. We are unable to host shadows on these days:

- November 6
- November 20
- November 25
- November 27
- December 17-January 4, 2027
