SMS Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

These SMS Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to text messaging (SMS/MMS) communications between Colorado Lutheran High School Association, doing business as Lutheran High School (LuHi) ("LuHi," "we," "us," or "our"), and families, students, prospective families, and other individuals who opt in to receive text messages from us.
Terms of Service
Who we are: Colorado Lutheran High School Association (Lutheran High School / LuHi), located in Parker, Colorado.
Types of messages: By opting in, you agree to receive SMS text messages from LuHi related to school announcements, event reminders, admissions and enrollment updates, and other school-related communications. Message topics may include, for example, enrollment deadlines, campus events, schedule changes, and general school news.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out: You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you'd like to rejoin, you can sign up again through our normal opt-in process. For help at any time, reply HELP or contact us at office@lhsparker.org or 303-841-5551.
Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
This program is not affiliated with any wireless carrier. Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and other major U.S. carriers. Carrier coverage may vary.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from LuHi as described above. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or any purchase.

Privacy Policy (SMS Program)
This section describes how LuHi handles information collected through our SMS text messaging program.
Information we collect: When you opt in to our SMS program, we collect your mobile phone number and any information you voluntarily provide in connection with your application, enrollment, or other inquiry (such as your name and, if applicable, your student's name), for the purpose of sending you the text messages described in our Terms of Service above.
How we use this information: We use your mobile number and related opt-in information solely to send you the SMS communications you've agreed to receive, and to manage your preferences (including opt-outs and opt-in status).
No sharing of SMS consent data: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent (i.e., your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent status) will not be shared with any third parties, affiliates, or non-affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
Data security: We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through this SMS program from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Your choices: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, as described in the Terms of Service above. You may also contact us directly at office@lhsparker.org or 303-841-5551 with any questions about your data or to request that we stop contacting you.
