Glen Maestretti
Coach Glen Maestretti was born and raised in a small farming community in Southern Illinois playing baseball and basketball. Immediately upon graduating from high school he enlisted in the US Navy. Once his tour was complete, he attended Lake Land College.
He shares, “Teaching this wonderful game is a true passion for me. I am always learning something new that will not only better myself but my players as well. One of my main goals is to show student athletes the importance of playing this game at a high level, with great fundamentals, passion and respect in order for them to become strong leaders in whatever path they choose once their playing days are finished. Our coaching staff believes a key ingredient in our success is to always focus on creating a healthy, God-honoring culture that allows our athletes to thrive."
Randy Barnhart
Randy Barnhart was born and raised in Kansas City and grew up playing football, baseball and basketball. He is a 1992 graduate of Kansas State University and a huge Wildcat fan. He has served on the Horn Creek Conference Grounds Board of Directors as well as SECC Elder Board.
Randy has over 13 years of coaching experience in multiple sports. He is entering his 9th year of coaching softball and was co-founder of one of the most successful competitive softball organizations in the State of Colorado over its 5-year stretch. He is also an assistant coach with the Colorado Stars 18 Gold – Sakamoto team. “A key ingredient in our past success has been a focus on creating a healthy, God-honoring culture that allows our athletes to thrive. I’m blessed to have coached some of the most amazing, hard-working, warrior-hearted and fun-loving young ladies in the game of softball.”
Randy and his wife Ginger moved to Colorado in 1996. They have three children, Macy, Mallory and Meredith.
Matt Smith
